Welcome to my website. The artworks displayed here were created in oil, pastels, watercolors and acrylics. It spans from the beginning I picked up a brush to the present. I had a regular job and a lot of the artwork were worked and reworked over time whenever I had time to go back to paint.
As far as I can remember, art has been a big influence in my life. When I was in grade school, my notebook was filled with drawings. Thru high school and college, my notebook had some drawing somewhere in the pages.
I was fortunate to have seen the artworks of famous artists who ever lived in different museums in New York City. My favorite was the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Because of them, I was inspired to take a serioius look at art.
My formal education was limited to an art subject in a community college, a home study corespondence course with Famous Art School and Indiana University.
I had several workshops with well known artists, like Daniel Green, Tony Couch. Fettingis among others.
The traditional representational school influenced me so much. I want my painting to be realistic but without going into so much detail as to draw every brick in a building.
I love watercolors, but I also like oils, pastels, and acrylics.
I hope my art will appeal to some and purchase my creations.
